Kyla was a godsend to me.I had a terrible experience with a hair/makeup trial and had one week until I got married. As soon as I met her I knew I was in good hands. She did exactly what I asked for and more. I left there feeling and looking like a girl should on her wedding day. My hair/makeup were both perfect and lasted all night. I couldn't have been happier. Not only did Kyla make me beautiful but I now have a new stylist and a friend for life.

First time to Makari Hair Studio and I loved the 'attention to detail' that she gave my daughter, Michaela. I let her know about the look we were going for and she nailed it. Michaela went to photographer for senior pics and the woman kept gushing about her eyes, which is what I had asked Kyla to enhance with makeup and she was on point. I will certainly be a return customer of Makari, already booked an appointment before I left. Kyla was very, very reasonable with pricing and never rushed our appointment time.

Kyla did my hair for many years. She always let me know what hairstyles would work for me. She took care of my girls and I on my wedding day too! She did amazing job with hair and makeup. Her time management that day was perfect as she took care of all of us on her own. She also did a makeup consultation with me where she showed me how to apply my makeup and what colors worked for me. I have to say Kyla is an amazing stylists!!!!

We had a wonderful experience with Kyla and her assistant. We had 10 women get their hair done for a wedding very quickly and everyone's hair was perfect! The styles lasted all throughout the evening - some even for a couple of days! Wonderful to work with!! Thank you both again!

Kyla and Brenda both did the makeup for my wedding. We had six girls altogether and they were such a joy to work with. The makeup turned out so wonderful. Each girl asked for their own style of makeup, and some presented their own skin issues, and they were able to navigate through each request. Each person got their makeup done just how they wanted it! It also stayed on all afternoon and evening, despite it being VERY hot out. Not only were great at what they did, they were so fun to be around. I would strongly recommend Kyla to anyone needing makeup!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a base line where I start from. My Pricing depends the size of the parties, service, location, etc.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to speak to he or she and define what it is I can offer. Then, if they are interested, I follow through with scheduling a trial run. From there we discuss all the details and if the client chooses me, then I have them fill out a contractual agreement and collect a security deposit which reserves their date and is applied toward the overall cost.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the industry for 17 years. I have also had advanced training as a MUA
