9. CJ-Personal Training and Nutritional Consulting
"I was in need of a trainer who could help me achieve my fitness goals. I needed someone who was knowledgable, understands how to work with people who have a variety of fitness levels and nutritional needs, and could teach me how to make the most of my training sessions. I have been through college fitness classes, participated in numerous fitness plans, and tried a variety of exercise routines and it was hard for me to find a trainer who could teach me something new, let alone help me progress.
My first session with CJ was a new experience. Instead of taking me around the gym from machine to machine and assigning an amount of weight and reps for me to do for the next month, he spent the time discovering what I could do and what my body needed. During my session he also taught me more about how the muscles work and how to build strength that was not the same old routine. I knew I had found my trainer.
Future sessions consisted of a variety of exercises meant to push me further than I thought was possible. He paid attention to my form and helped me make adjustments so I could get the most out of each movement and avoid injury. I was also given extra exercises to do for homework until my next session. Every week is different so I am never bored and my body doesn't get stuck in a rut because it is always being challenged in new ways.
As a woman I never felt uncomfortable because of the professionalism shown and he was was always willing to answer my questions. He also helped me find areas where I could improve my eating habits. CJ is constantly reading the latest research on nutrition and fitness and would relay what would be helpful for my fitness goals.
I highly recommend CJ for anyone who is willing to put in the work it takes to improve their health and wants some intense butt kicking training sessions.
