I like what I do very much. I like to share a good job well done with my clients. Their satisfaction and the fee are my reward :) I do most of the work either with the help of one other, the owner if they care to participate, or by myself. I really don't want to supervise, I'd rather spend the time doing the best job I can. Word of mouth advertising is very economical. The many different tasks and jobs keep this occupation very interesting. Unlike construction, every job is different and a problem to be solved for the client The older the house the more there is to learn about the history and story that goes with each one.

Kevin was early for the appointment and knew just what to do! He hung a magnetic knife strip for us, wall-mounted a guitar, hung 2 pictures and replaced a light bulb that we couldn't figure out how to change. Thanks!!

It is really nice to work with great clients. Nicole tore apart the corner of her closet, with no hesitation, to get to the breaker box. They had brought along this unique chandelier and swapping out a lite bar in a cement cieling was a little unexpected, but the fixture was so Kool, it had to go up ! Nicole even helped bring tools back down to the truck. So far it has been a real pleasure to meet and work for these clients.

Kevin is awesome! He offers competitive and in my opinion fair pricing and he knows exactly what he is doing. He installed/swapped out a chandelier for me. He arrived on time, did the installation and cleaned up. I would definitely work with him again in the future!!

I hired Kevin to do several jobs around my new condo, including - hang a cabinet and several shelves in the bathroom, hang a curtain rod and install new rods in my closet. He was very responsive to all of my emails and flexible in scheduling a time with me - booking on a Sunday afternoon. He had all of the tools need it, including a stud finder for the wall, and he was quick and efficient.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do not do any formal continuing education. Older houses just don't change that much. The codes do though, so I get the latest books and manuals or call the town inspectors directly for my own edification and to discover if those who have come before have done the same
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father was an production engineer. His job was to solve problems. He also liked to fix things. I got the bug from him. Only I applied it to problems centered around home renovations and repair. I also like to fix old hand tools.
What types of customers have you worked with?
The jobs I like most are moving walls fixing support beams, tiling, repairing trim and painting. I like to leave when the job seems complete.
