My experience was wonderful. I sought Reiki energy healing to heal emotionally from my husband's death. Liz was warn, reassuring, explained what and why each step of the Reiki session. I'm still processing the experience but I have high hopes that this will get my energy flowing cleanly, abundantly. I plan to followup for a 2nd session in a few weeks and looking forward to feeling so much better.

As far as fitness, one-on-one personal training, couples and small group personal training, online personal training using Skype, bootcamp touring to different cities in the DMV and/or other states by special request, Wedding Party bootcamps for them to get in shape before the wedding, traveled to other states to train clients by special request, alternate location sessions (i.e. walking or hiking session at Great Falls with bodyweight exercise intervals, etc.) Meal Prep guidance, Meal Plans and more. Wellness Services requests can include but are not limited to Reiki and other energy healing treatments (hands-on in person or distant), Physio Spirtual Massage, Facilitated Stretching, Stress reduction techniques, Mindful Meditation, Healthy Lifestyle coaching, Holistic Wellness and Health coaching, Detox Coaching, Love Coaching, Women's Empowerment, etc. I'm also an It Works Distributor and as Loyal Customers, my clients can save up to 50% on natural weight loss and health supplements as well as body contouring products, body wras and skin care. • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Assisting some active duty military service members who were on the brink of being separated from their branch of service, not only lose weight and inches to meet their service standards but they were also able to score high for the first time on their service fitness test. This resulted in them being in good standing with their branch of service and no longer at risk of separation for being "unfit for duty". Me being a Marine Corps veteran, I could certaintly relate to their need for help and was more than happy of their progress and complete transformation after training with me for 12 weeks.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Personal Trainers (especially independent trainers) are highly UNDERRATED. Many people do not realize the value of this profession or the work and effort put in to being a personal trainer or health coach. Until I finally invested in a trainer myself, many years ago at the beginning of my fitness journey; I did not understand but learned how much is involved with training. Being the type of person I am and what my needs were at the time; I required a lot from my trainer. :-) We are not just about fitness and putting dumbbells in your hand or making you do burpees and sit ups. Many seek personal training for more than just a workout... Anyone can learn their way around the gym and study to pass a certification test, copy workouts found on the internet... but not everyone is cut out to be a personal trainer. It goes beyond your knowledge of fitness, anatomy and nutrition. To be a great personal trainer, you need to know how to relate to people and talk to them... and you certainly need to know how to listen. To a certain extent, you may also need to have some knowledge of the medical field (including psychology), conditions/terminology,etc. You definitely need to know how to motivate people... Each person is different/unique and you need to train them and motivate them based on their individual need and personality type. As Personal Trainers, we can never know enough, we have to constantly stay educated, do research and study up regularly on our multi-faceted profession. As with many other consultants, we too have to keep up with our expensive certifications and education. Recertifying and attending required training for credit towards recertification or maintaining certifications. We also invest in education for specific specialties to better provide valued services to our clients like physical therapy, sports conditioning, yoga, pilates, senior health, prenatal fitness, weight management, endurance sports training, boxing, martial arts, mixed martial arts training, specific competitive athletic training, bodybuilding competition prep training, etc. While it may seem like a part time gig or hobby for some... It's a full time/life long profession for many, with no set hours, no company paid benefits or paid time off. No over-time pay or regular paycheck for that matter... Many of us are communicating with clients, planning new programs, online marketing, traveling to clients, writting up meal plans or solo workout plans for clients, etc. up to the wee hours of the morning (pretty much working 7 days a week, including holidays and snow days). With a hectic schedule, we still have to find time for our own families and working on our own fitness journeys. Clients need to know and understand that they are hiring a professional consultant who relies solely on this work to support themselves and their families, like any other independent consultant who works their profession full-time. Their time and requirements according to whatever training agreement or contract they signed with their trainer should be respected and adhered to like any other.
