After going bananas trying to figure out how I was going to pull off my party, I took a gulp, went for it. So glad I did! These ladies are so sweet, knowledgeable, able to handle all the details, and totally budget conscious. Seriously - the money I saved just using their research, ideas, and supplies more than made up for the cost of their services. And that's not even including the savings on my mental health. I had a perfect party that I was actually able to enjoy. My only regret is that I didn't hire them sooner. Awesome!!!

Design Innovations saved my life! I started planning my dirty thirty birthday at age 29. I was a total bridezilla about it to. I called or texted Halimah everyday. We shared a Pinterest folder with all my ideas. They were able to bring my dreams alive like I never could have imagined!! Everything was so beautiful and the best part of it was that I could relax and know that everything I needed was being taken care of. Halimah is an angel. She handled me and my wants with such compassion and true concern. I never once felt like I was being too disficult even though I’m sure I was!!! But I had a magical 30th which went from my dirty to classy flirty with the help of this company! I’m so grateful thank you again!!! Can not thank you enough!!!

I hired D.I.Y. for my birthday party last year and it was amazing. I wanted a 90’s theme party which Halimah and her team went above and beyond to deliver. From the themed cocktails and food to the straight out of the 90s photo booth and music, I was thoroughly impressed and had the greatest time! 5 star event planners! They care. They listen. They research. They follow up. All I asked for was a "set the night to music" theme and they did the rest. Every detail was perfect! Pic is of the little records they found for the table and a music note selfie booth. It was BEAUTIFUL!

We like to first hear about your vision for your event, everything from music, to color scheme, to theme all the details. With this information in hand we work with the client to make their event a memorable one.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My partner and I have both have over 18 years hospitality experience combined.
