- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I attend conferences through out the year. I have also spoken at conferences offering industry colleagues events and trends in our industry. I currently hold the CMP (Certified Meeting Planner) designation as well
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been planning events (including my own) since I was 16. I think I was born with the planning gene. I can't seem to escape it.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Have a checklist/wishlist of what you want for your event. Know your budget. I would suggest reaching out to at least 3 vendors and give them your wishlist and budget. By having 3 bids to compare you will be able to get a full sense of what your event will look like.
