- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We provide free estimates. Most often, our clients have already done some research and have an idea as to what they need in terms of color or design selections with wallpaper. With roofing, there are many variables. We will provide several options to determine what product fits your need within your price range.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is nearly paperless. For wallpaper services we need measurements, or pictures and we can price it out over Thumbtack. Then we will schedule the installation date. Clients will need to order enough wallpaper as if there isnt enough we do have a return trip fee of $75. For wallpaper patterns that must match up, clients should order 20% extra at least. For roofing clients we can price everything out virtually. We will have tech visit the property and take photos with the drone. Then we will determine a plan of action to best address the needs of the home and the client. We dont pressure our clients, instead, we educate so that can make an informed decision. We can usually walk clients through the entire roofing process over the phone (or in person) so that they know enough about the process where they could install a roof themselves.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Tom has a MBA and on the job experience. This is a family business. Our father worked as subcontractor for many years and passed his knowledge and skills to his children. So a lot of our training is through 3 decades of experience. As far as specific training classes, for roofing, we have taken various National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) classes. We have also taken all classes offered by Owens Corning through Owens Corning University.
