I worked with Matthew Cruz when I was the Development and Communications Manager of a nonprofit in the Washington, DC area. He put together our excellent benefit video, and did so within about one month, which allowed us to share the video with our constituents in a timely manner. Because that video was so good I hired him to do some more promotional videos that I put on our website when we relaunched, and those were equally good. What was so incredible about working with Matthew was his professionalism and his knowledge of how to make videos (especially videos targeted to our specific audience). He listened to our needs and he found a way to get everything done while, at the same time, satisfying our varied interests. This was not an easy task, but Matthew managed it with aplomb.

Matt edited a "Rivalry Week" lacrosse highlight video for me. I contacted Matt with a simple idea in mind, and in only a couple of days he put together a creative, inspiring and blood-pumping video that to this day I still watch. Matt's easy to work with and is extremely creative, stringing different clips together in a perfect manner. I'd highly recommend using Matt, especially if you're looking for someone to do a highlight video or any sort of sports video editing. I'll definitely be using Matt again and had a joy working with him.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to hear what their requests are for the pending project and then proceed to tell them how I can fulfill those requests.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got into videography in college when I worked at the Towson University television station.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I use Thumbtack mainly for wedding videography, and the package that is most popular is our Feature Film package.
