This is the second time John has done work on our home and again, with outstanding results. The projects were varied and both John and James completed them rapidly; replacement and paint of ceiling drywall, installation of drywall access panel, installation of screen door and exterior door painting. If you need a skilled professional who works quickly, accurately and who stands by the quality of his work, I highly recommend John.

Antonio is a professional and his work is outstanding. He was able to fit me in over the weekend and was promptly at my house at 8am. He painted my entire master bedroom and ceiling earlier than expected and it looks amazing. Instead of ignoring some damage to the plaster under the window and just painting it over, he showed me the damage, sealed the crack that caused the damage, and re-plastered the entire area. Just great! He says he does other types of work so I will be calling him again!

We are so happy to have found Marvin and his crew at Baiza Construction! It's been a year since Marvin completed the project of turning our fixer-upper into a beautiful home and we couldn't be happier. The renovations were extensive: they knocked down a wall and installed a modern kitchen, moved the location of a bathroom and gave us an amazing walk-in shower, sanded and stained hard-wood floors, painted, gave the house a new roof and all new windows, while insulating everything well so we will save money on heating and A/C in the future! They did a lot more, but too much to list. We keep going back to Marvin to do additional projects as needed. Marvin has been very good to us, he does great work at very fair prices. He's also a really nice guy who really wants to make sure we are happy with the results. The only problem? He's so sought after, it may be hard for him to find the time to respond. I think a lot of bad reviews are due to him just being so busy. My suggestion to him is to hire an administrative assistant to help with all the project scheduling, invoices, and other boring office stuff that I think he doesn't like to do. Also, maybe find a way to clone himself ;)

Bob took care of a couple projects. Provided good options during estimate process. Replaced a poorly deteriorated rear entry door and transom window, replaced front steps, shored up railings, and put new flooring down on front porch. Work was completed within 2 days. Very easy to work with, and very reasonably priced. Would hire again.

After a heavy storm, we had water leaking from our lights in the kitchen and from our electric panel in our basement! I called MJ Home Services and Dale came out the next day to investigate the leaks. He quickly turned around an estimate to fix both issues as I told him I wanted to fix the issues ASAP. Prices were very reasonable and he insisted on finding the cause of the leaks instead of assuming the obvious (the bay window in the kitchen). The "obvious" cause of the leak wasn't actually the problem after his investigation as Dale found that the problem was actually the window on the next level up. It was allowing water in and running down the brick into the kitchen drywall ceiling. I couldn't be happier that we chose MJ home services to complete the repairs and everything was fixed way beyond my expectations. Also, the coordination of service by Melissa was amazing.

Andre and his crew built me a large privacy fence around my property. His pricing was very reasonable. Andre was very informative and his crew was very hardworking. They started when he said they would and completed when he said they would. I am satisfied with the work. They also cleaned up, you couldn't tell workers where working for two days. I am also using him for a deck and screen porch.

Mr. Yellets was professional and punctual. I was disappointed that he did not clean-up after the job. He left the materials he replaced, screens and siding, for me to dispose of. I did not think I need to ask the contractor to dispose of replace materials. Smarter now.

We had an awesome experience with Mike of Umberger Contracting. He was very responsive, punctual and professional. He did quality work on our window screens. While other contractors were willing to do the work, they were not willing to think outside the box and use materials that were not the norm per our request. We would and will use Umberger Contracting for more of our home projects in the future!

Joseph has done many renovation projects around my house. He has beautifully finished my basement into a lovely space. He has installed a vinyl fence around my quarter of an acre yard. He has built a very large composite deck in my back yard. He has also installed new windows, siding and roofing. He is a very hard worker and really has gone the extra mile to make sure I am satisfied with the finished product. It is nice to have a contractor that you can trust in your home. I highly recommend him!

I purchased my dream car in 2005; after receiving multiple proposals to build a home/garage for my 1966 Mustang, my wife and I selected Perhe LLC to build our garage. After working with Glen Gordon and his contractors we are now fans for life. After Perhe LLC built our garage, we asked them to return multiple times to complete other projects which included: upgrading the electrical, install new windows, install storm doors and siding on the back of our house. This company is not just one-dimensional--it can handle diverse home improvement projects! Earl & Mary Randolph

Dan does beautiful work! Before we met Dan (about 18 years ago) we suffered financial headaches and much heartache at the hands of several other contractors. Since then, however, Dan has done many projects for us Bedroom and bathroom remodeling, kitchren remodeling, built-in bookcases, fine cabinetry, plate glass window replacement, etc. His work has always been excellent, and he has always been financially reasonable and personally very pleasant to work with. We have very high expectations of a contractor and Dan has never let us down; his attention to detail is excellent. Whenever we do a project with Dan and his crew we don’t have a worry about the quality of the work, the well-being of our home, or that we’re being treated honestly and fairly. It’s wonderful!

We recently had a complete kitchen remodel and are very happy with the results. We hired Dennis Gillooly of Trimline Construction as the general contractor. We were on a very tight budget and after pricing the options from a local cabinet supplier, Dennis suggested we look at using Ready to Assemble cabinets instead. He explained the various options and helped us with the design, layout, and ordering of these cabinets from an east coast supplier. This saved us more than 50% vs the original quoted cost from the local supplier! We got really nice cabinets at a fraction of the cost. Dennis put these cabinets together, installed them, helped us pick the perfect handles, installed those as well, and completed all the trim work to make the finished job look wonderful. We love our new kitchen – it looks great! We also previously used Dennis Gillooly to finish our 1,200 sq foot basement. Dennis took care of managing everything including the design, framing, drywall, a full bathroom, kitchenette/bar area, a ton of storage closets including a cedar closet and custom shelving, the big recreation room, enclosed office space, new French doors, cutting in new windows in our concrete walls, and he personally installed 1,200 sq feet of engineered wood flooring throughout. We painted the basement ourselves in order to save money and found Dennis very willing to work with us to make such a large project both affordable but also exactly what we wanted.

I have a home which was about to be listed on the market for sale in 3 days and needed some important finishing touches done on it including fixing door locks, window hinges, and some painting--and I was in Florida whereas the house is in VA. Azad seemed very trustworthy over the phone so I put my house in his hands. He finished everything properly and within 2 days. My hold got a contract after 10 days on the market and I'm sure Azad's work helped make that happen. Thank you Azad!

I appreciated the quick reply. They ended up not doing the work since my request was for outside their service area, but the reply helped me narrow down my list of possible contractors. I was in a very tight time window for a quote, so responsiveness was important to me.

I had a job on a rental unit that required replacing rotted sub-floor in the kitchen and bathroom, vinyl flooring, replacing a rotted window sill, and a broken window. Fast, reliable, and quality work at a fair price. Ken even picked up the stove elements I needed while he was getting supplies. I'll absolutely use him again!
