Math Renaissance

Introduction: I have been a math educator for 7 years by teaching math in high school and middle school. I founded 'Math Renaissance' after seeing so many students struggle with abstract concepts and lack of interest. 'Math Renaissance' looks to provide on-site math tutoring that incorporates social/emotional and arts components for youth grades K-12. We understand that every child learns differently so we created a new approach to math education that allows for an Individualized Math Learning Plan (IMLP) to move each student toward mastery. The IMLP is based on our Math Renaissance pre-assessment that gathers data on a child's academic ability, cultural context and interest.
