FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm always practicing on my own to refine my skills. Even though I've been doing this coaching for a several years, I am finishing up a certification program with WholeSpeak. (wholespeak.com) I've been honing my skills as public speaking coach and gaining valuable professional relationships.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Well, I went to theater school and studied acting for many years. When I started to get into the professional world of acting, I realized my life would be one long line of unfulfilling auditions with people I didn't know and who didn't really care about me. I care about people and want to be of service not in 10 years when I get my big break, but NOW. I chose to focus on teaching yoga and within 6 years was already teaching teachers. Now I offer my insights from the worlds of yoga, public speaking and voice to a larger audience.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
A lot of public speaking or singing coaches are ONLY results oriented and will give you fast fixes that don't necessarily feel like "you". I work in a holistic way that brings out your most authentic voice and give you techniques that stick. They also might just change your life!
