John was everything we were looking for in a motivational speaker. He talked about servant leadership and contrasted it with classical management (top-down), all the while using stories and humor. Many of our attendees told me privately that they liked John and thought he did a good job. I recommend him for others.Jan 29, 2017VerifiedJohn Verrico's reply
Thank you, again, Bruce. You were terrific to work with and it was great to meet some of the IBEW membership. Your event led to an additional opportunity with some of your attendees. I have just returned from speaking at the IBEW 4th District Progress Meeting, and several attendees remembered me from the Florida event. You are all a warm, welcoming group and I hope to work with IBEW again. Maybe next time we'll focus on work-life balance. ;-)
I hired John Verrico to speak at our annual company retreat and everyone found him to be funny, refreshing and motivating. He opened with a participatory exercise that got everyone out of their chairs and laughing. He really energized the room but was also able to transition that energy to deliver poignant takeaway messages that we could all reflect on after the speech. If you are looking for a quality speaker for your event, John Verrico is highly recommended!Sep 18, 2015Verified
John was wonderful as a speaker for our professional retreat. He was enthusiastic, approachable, and expertly facilitated exercises among my colleagues. John was very engaging and has a fabulous sense of humor that made the retreat fun. His “Relight My Fire” theme was perfectly tailored for our group. His presentations inspired our team to recharge, refresh, and develop strategies to improve our work environment. We had fun, we gained valuable insight, and we thank John for “relighting our fire”.Jul 17, 2017VerifiedJohn Verrico's reply
Thank you, Taylor. It was wonderful working with you and your team. The real success was due to how much information you provided about your organization prior to the event, allowing me to build a workshop that would make sense and resonate with your team. I wish continued success for your group and look forward to working with you again.
John was a great Team Building Speaker. He kept everyone engaged and attentive to his presentation. It was interactive and fun. There are some changes in my organization and I think John's presentation was very assertive uniting us more as a team.May 30, 2016Verified
What makes a speaker successful is a combination of preparation and audience knowledge. My initial conversation with John was almost 45 minutes and was followed up with a 6-page questionnaire response. He really knew my management team and the issues we faced he addressed them spot on...in a humorous way, of course! His interactions with my manager, both before and after his presentation, also helped to personalize the message. And most importantly; he made people laugh which was my main goal in selecting him! No prior speaker has EVER received the overwhelmingly positive feedback from my staff that has been showered upon John.Dec 21, 2015Verified
