I've worked for Jennifer, who was the Writing Studio Director at my college, and she also has helped me with my writing on a professional level. Jennifer is excellent at relaying how each person can maximize learning. She is very clear, but also very friendly with her guidance. When working with college students, Jennifer is able to help them break assignments down into easily digestible tasks and suggest edits (some that are significant and some that are minor) with ease and confidence. She tends to use a guiding method of asking questions and allowing you to find the answer. She is astute when it comes to ascertaining whether or not a student already knows an answer. If they do know it and just can't "see" it - she helps lead them to it. If they don't, she helps them find ways to research and remedy that issue, which build their confidence as a writer and a person. Overall, Jennifer is an incredibly passionate and positive professional. I highly recommend her for any sort of writing, editing or mentoring opportunity.
Ihab is quite possibly the best math tutor I have ever had. He is enthusiastic, encouraging, and sharp. He is able to adjust his teaching style to fit the learning style of the student. His years of experience allow him to teach his students material in a way most tutors are unable to. 5 stars.
Our company has been working with Eric for many months on a video game development project we have in the works. When we brought him on the team we explained that it would be a challenge as the writing consisted of creative writing and promotional writing, he was not worried about the challenge. So far Eric has met our expectations and exceeded them greatly! We look forward to publishing our project and marketing it using his creative insight. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.
Greg was able to take on a wide range of topics from technical medical device guides to articles on lifestyle and wellbeing. He often asked follow up questions to clarify assignments and make sure he was on target. His projects were typically turned in ahead of schedule and needed little editing. He quickly grasped the brand and with that the voice of the organization. His work was always research-based and easy to digest. I would not hesitate to recommend him for content writing in the health field or any other.
Ben Paris is an excellent SAT tutor. In less than 10 hours he helped me improve my overall score by 300 points, from a 1960 to a 2260! He was able to explain solutions clearly and concisely, and identify larger patterns in my test-taking approach. He was able to help me with a wide range of skills, from my approach to critical reading passages to my ability to eliminate wrong answers. He was particularly good at helping me to both address my weakness, and maximize my strengths, in order to achieve my highest potential score.

Once properly caffeinated, I'm an efficient writer, a confident interviewer, and a meticulous fact checker skilled at tailoring my style to best fit the project at hand. I've had the opportunity to hone my writing chops in hands-on, deadline-driven settings working with start-ups and small companies that stressed creative problem solving. Producing memorable copy, pithy articles, and savvy social media content is my bread and butter, but I'm game to tackle anything in the realm of writing. Always open to new opportunities, I'm ideally looking to collaborate on projects that utilize my Barnard English degree in combination with my passion for talking all things beauty, food, fitness, travel, and pop culture.
