About this pro

How does your service stand out?

I have an engineering education and inclination plus an eye for aesthetic, color and design. My customers get a project result that is both structurally sound, a long lasting value and pleasing to the eye. I pay a lot of attention to details, keeping my work space clean as I go and collaborating with customers to get the best value and results they want.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

I like most when the homeowner gains peace-of-mind in their home space as a result of our joint effort towards improvements and safety. I also especially like it if we can develop ongoing service business relationship. I enjoy fixing almost anything especially if I can reuse, recycle or repurpose materials to solve the problem at hand. This means I enjoy coming up with creative ways to get you the Madison Ave look you want without the equivalent price.

Q&A

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Home energy auditors training in 2009 and the solar thermal course with Maine Housing Authority Certified Intuit Cloud ProAdvisor on QuickBooks Online Edition August 2014.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Home repairs and a few remodeling project that I generally do by myself. If you are in a rush, then hire a crew (not me) but you will not likely get the attention to detail and collaboration with the customer that I provide. You can call me slow or the contemplative re modeler, it all depends on your perspective. If you want to be in the collaboration, considering color, texture, design and how-to create lasting and beautiful value in your home,.... then I am your guy.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Entire condo remodel you can see photos on our website. Propping up and restoring a side porch on a victorian in Portland ME.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I am an engineer by education and an artisan in my approach to the home repair and remodeling work. I take pride in being on-time, communicating progress on the job, respecting that I am in the customer's home space, and providing the best long-term value for the customer even when it takes longer than expected. To get a long lasting and beautiful result, it takes good collaboration with the homeowner, a sense of color, design, texture and structural integrity for the look and materials for the project. That is what I love to do.
