- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was always playing in bands and traveling. When I was home I would work temp jobs(which I hated). I had one student that used to come to my house and I really liked the process and watching him progress. I had a knack and a surprising amount of patience for it. Through word of mouth I started getting more and more students. Eventually, I moved to a music store and taught there for years until opening my own studio in 2010 built around teaching not selling gear or accessories.
