- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If you want to know if you're getting a fair rate, Google it or check Homewyse cost Calculators! That's how I price most of my jobs. Fees and Additional Charges; Leed Fee - Thumbtack charges providers a "Leed Fee" ranging from $10 to $50 when you respond to a quote or I respond . do not respond to an estimate if it's not to your liking. Mileage Fee - Any work outside of Ann Arbor or 15 miles beyond Packed Rd & Platt intersection, may carry a mileage charge of $0.60 per mile. Scheduling Fees - It is my general policy to Schedule any requested work or tasks 4 to 7 days out from the initial request of services. Urgent Service Request $25: Applied to any request of work to be Schedule between 48-72 hours from the initial contact. Next Day Service Request $50: Applied to any request of work to be Schedule between 24-48 hours from the initial request. Same Day Service Request $85: Applied to any request of work to be completed with less than 30 hours from the initial request. Emergency Service Request $150: Applied to any request of immediate work, an additional $100 fee will be applied If I leaving or reschedule an existing appointment. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: for Emergency Service, clients are required to text and/or email KC to confirming they understand the additional fees and costs Scheduling Fees cover "Prompt Service", Not the request service! Discounts: Veterans Discounts - %10 (Non-Commercial, Must provide military ID or DD 214)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to fully discuss the project or tasks at hand, work out a plan of action and then schedule work to be completed at a later date when possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've worked in the trades from a young age with my father, who is a license journeyman and lifetime maintenance technician.
