Mary is an awesome trainer! She helped me get into shape for my wedding and I was very pleased with my results. I was battling a hand injury at the time and Mary made sure to plan around my injury to ensure the best possible workouts without causing further damage. Unfortunately, I had to move and was too far to train with her, but I will definitely call on Mary again in my future should I ever move back to Ann Arbor! I highly recommend!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    Private studio: $50-75/hr At your home: $85/hr Online training sessions: $40/hr Tailored workout plans only: $100/month Shorter sessions and discounts available

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I begin with a free initial consultation to see if we are a good fit. If we both agree to work together we start with a brief medical history and then a physical fitness test. Sometimes a physician approval is required. After fitness testing we develop a plan that includes the client's home or gym workout sessions. After a few initial sessions to learn proper form, I give the client a set of exercises they can start doing on theiri own. These are periodically evaluated and changed.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I went to medical school which gives me a background in some of the injuries that can occur with improper training. I am able to evaluate current trends in fitness by researching through accurate sources and I avoid fads that are not backed by evidence. I have over ten years of experience with my own trainer and mentor. I earn the required continuing education credits required by the NASM.
