When we decided to try to squeeze our elopement into the tail end of 2020, during a pandemic, we weren't sure if we were going to be able to pull it off. Thanks to the quick response and flexibility of Borrowed & Blue Ceremonies, we were able to have a unique and special memory to cap off our 10th year as a couple, which had otherwise been a difficult and challenging year. It can feel awkward to have an event stripped down to just two witnesses and a stranger, but Rev Elizabeth's demeanor helped us to feel calm and comfortable and we hope to reach back out after the pandemic to have her help us celebrate on a larger scale.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Flat fee, very low stipend. There may be an additional fee for custom services or for distances.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with a couple as far in advance as possible to get a time line for the ceremony. Then we meet closer to the wedding date to discuss specifics. I attend the rehearsal and guide your attendants through the process. I give you the basics for the ceremony, tell you what's required and what's optional, and allow you to write your vows if you wish. I offer everything from traditional to completely custom.

I was ordained through Universal Life Church Ministries.
