FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A typical process begins with finding out specifically what the client is looking to accomplish and then setting up a schedule to obtain those goals. If a client is looking to remodel an interior room for example, it will start with a few brief summaries of the expectations and overall design aesthetic they are wishing to achieve as well as budgetary requirements for products and services. Then typically we will meet at the client's home to get an overall feel for the room we are working with as well as go over some initial ideas, color schemes, any structural changes or design implementations that need to be contracted out (I personally handle all of that!). A design draft will then be presented to the client to be signed off on and the project will commence and be completed in a timely manner, but also taking care to not rush or cut corners.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Years ago I would have special gatherings at my home and people would always fuss over the design and tell me I should do it for a living. It wasn't until I had some other business professionals at my home and they shared their enthusiasm for my designs, that I felt I could really do this. It is something I truly love and don't think of as necessarily work!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with clients of all backgrounds and budgets including single moms to large corporate designs.
