Kal is 100% AMAZING!!! I originally need him to re-tile my bathroom floor. He gave me an estimate which was very reasonable, which led to me asking him about remodeling my kitchen. Long story short he outlined what he could do, gave me an estimate an he started on the kitchen right away. I can’t express how pleased and happy I am with his work. Kal is amazing. He is professional, affordable and does amazing work. I am so happy!!! I wish I would’ve known him years ago & got this done. I’ve told all my friends and family about him. Needless to say he’s the person I’ll call for any upcoming projects! Thanks a million Kal.

I invested in a downtown Detroit condo to rent out and had a bad leak that caused the need for extensive repairs, including, entire floor to be redone, brand new kitchen cabinets, drywall, painting and removal and reinstallation of all appliances. I had my first tenant moving in in 3 weeks and was completely panicked. I live in New York so this was not easy to coordinate. After interviewing various contractors, Kal from Dr. Hammer was the most reassuring that he could get this job done properly and on time. Every aspect of how Kal and his business operates is spot on professional. His responsiveness and straight forward approach without any BS was exactly what the Dr ordered! He evaluated the job thoroughly and quickly and was able to bring his team in within two days to get started. His team continued to work until all aspects of the job were completed not just in time but over a week ahead of when I needed it to be complete! He went out of his way to coordinate and meet up with my building contractors to ensure that the leak that caused this was properly repaired prior to doing the work. He even met up and helped me coordinate to meet a professional cleanup company to prepare the condo for my rental. And most importantly, his work was stellar professional and beautiful. His crew works very neatly and cleans up as they go as well. His pricing was also very fair as well. It was like winning the triple crown. I have worked with dozens of contractors in my life and there is always some disappointments. Kal is the first one to meet and exceed EVERY expectation that I had. Just stop at this review and HIRE HIM IMMEDIATLEY.

Kai provided extraordinary handyman services for our home. We are in the middle of moving and need a professional to assist. The handyman service we originally hired the week before cancelled on us at the last minute. Desperate to get these todo items off my list I revisited my vendors from Thumbtack after 10:30pm. Within an hour, Kai was scheduled for the next morning. Needless to say, Kai was outstanding and completed my tasks in a little over an hour. ...
