Contacting was a bit challenging; but the Italian lunch buffet he created was delicious. Everyone really enjoyed the food--caprese, bruschetta, chicken piccata, etc.--good presentation, excellent flavors. The only suggestion I would make is to discuss quantity clearly. We ended up with double the amount of food needed and I ended up sending leftovers home with all my guests.

The value we received was incredible. What we received for what we paid was better than reasonable. The staff person was capable and courteous and arrived early and tended to all our needs. Ours being a memorial service, I was unable to assist in any way, but there was no need because everything was handled smoothly. The food was not your traditional funeral luncheon fare (my choice) and was delicious. I would definitely hire this caterer again. I would also use Thumbtack again because I liked how quickly the interested caterers responded. It was difficult choosing just one but I'm happy with the outcome.

I didn't actually use his service, but I can tell you his follow up and menu options were very good. He really tried to accommodate the menu I requested. It was only due to unforeseen circumstances that I ended up having to go with another service, had not it been for that, I would have loved to work with him just based upon his professional demeanor.

We asked for a backyard picnic for our neighborhood. Matt provide BBQ pork & chicken, plus coleslaw, potato salad, ranch style beans, homemade rolls, butter and a decadent chocolate dessert, that included fresh berries and whipped cream. The food was delivered on time, hot and all we needed to serve it was provided. All the food was nicely presented and tasted very good, the dessert was fabulous. The delivery and & pick up of all the items went smoothly. The contact with Matt making the arrangements was easy. We had no worries or concerns that were not taken away once Matt told us what is food was like and how it would be prepared. We especially like his business model and were pleased to be part of his mission. We would consider using Matt again. We are confident that we got what we paid for and more.

Great food and great service! All of our party guests (a surprise birthday event) really enjoyed the meal, and there was lots leftover. I'd definitely use this catering service again!
