Experienced chef originating from Italy 🇮🇹with over 10 years experience. — I attended school at Alma International Italian Culinary. Founded by Gualtiero marchesi - the first chef to obtain 3 Michelin stars in Italy. Since that time I have spent time in Italy , France, Mexico and the United States at various Michelin Star restaurants. These positions have rounded me into the chef I am today. Dedicated and creative - I strive to push myself as far as I can go in the culinary world.
My dishes are created with high quality and unique ingredients like my dad extra vergin olive oil from Sicily , so I can guarantee an authentic flavor as the Italian tradition wants.

Since indoor dining is shutdown in Michigan I had to come up with a creative idea for my husband’s birthday. I thought about renting an igloo at a restaurant, but the minimum was ridiculous regardless of your party size and honestly who wants to have dinner in 30 degree weather? Not me, so I decided I would bring a chef to us and that’s when I found Chef Francesco Tola based on reviews on thumbtack. I’m so glad I did!
Chef Francesco Tola was absolutely amazing. He responded quickly to my request to plan a dinner for two for my husband’s birthday. He was very accommodating with the arrangements and gave us exactly what we wanted. He arrived early and went straight to work. He did everything from cooking to serving to removing & washing our dishes.
We opted for a five course traditional Italian dinner. It was beyond delicious! You can tell he takes extra care when selecting the freshest ingredients. Everything was cooked perfectly. The pasta was the best I’ve ever had. The hamachi fish melted in your mouth and was flaky on the outside. He made his own vinegar and used olive oil from Italy for his very flavorful vinaigrette. You can definitely tell he is passionate about his cooking, because it shows.
We could have not asked for a better evening and would highly recommend this very talented chef. My husband said it was the best birthday gift. Thank you, chef!

Francesco was absolutely INCREDIBLE!! Not only did he respond to my request for a service right away, but he continued to be communicative throughout the whole scheduling and booking and menu creating process. His skills in the kitchen were incredible and his plates were each better than the next, and BEAUTIFUL!! See my pictures attached. Be sure if you hire him, WHICH YOU SHOULD, you have him make you the lamb, it was so amazing. I surprised my husband for just a date night at home and it was such a fabulous night from start to finish. Also, talking about finishing, when Francesco left I swear my whole kitchen was cleaner than before he even got there. He really was great and so much fun and sweet to work with. My husband and I cannot wait to hire Francesco again and let him create a new menu with no boundaries! He needs to open his own restaurant!

Francesco is one of the most amazing chefs! Wow! I am so glad we hired him for our event. He was very responsive to my initial request and followed up immediately with menu ideas. And his food is out of this world! The olive oil he uses in his salad dressing is fabulous! Our guests were so impressed and are still talking about the food a week later! We will definitely utilize Francesco's amazing culinary skills again!

We had a birthday dinner for eight for my wife.
Francesco was very responsive. We first contacted him on a Tuesday, had menu decided by Thursday, and the dinner was on Saturday. We decided on an Italian four course dinner including a salad, pasta, ribeye steak, and cream brûlée.
On the night of the dinner he arrived on time, made and served each course, cleaned our kitchen perfectly and even offered to mop the floor.
Each course was outstanding along with his attention to detail. He was friendly to talk to while making the dinner. Otherwise he stayed in the background and provided an experience to remember. Everyone had great things to say about Francesco.
We would highly recommend Francesco for your private dining experience.

Because Covid made it infeasible to have a gathering with friends and family,
we engaged Francesco to prepare a dinner in our home to celebrate a ‘round number’ anniversary. We were thoroughly pleased with every aspect of the occasion.
From his communication and menu planning beforehand to the quality of the ingredients, the expert preparation and the thorough clean-up, every detail was handled professionally and delightfully. Each course was delicious and beautifully presented. Make sure to request the smoked potato, curry and bacon soup!
If a trip to Italy is out of the question, inviting Francesco to bring a taste of Italy to you could be the next best thing.
