- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I planned my first party for my 2 best friends upon their graduation from college. It was a big success! I had so much fun planning and executing it that I decided to start a business.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
: Conducting research, creating an event design, locating a venue for the event, arranging for food, décor, and entertainment, planning transportation, to and from the event, sending invitations to attendees, arranging any necessary accommodations for the attendees, coordinating the activities of event personnel, hiring employees to work the event, supervising at the site, and conducting evaluations of the event and catering.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We planned and executed an outdoor Graduation Party. Some guests had arrived when tornado sirens went off and torrential rains started to pour. We had to move the party indoors, for which our clients had not prepared for guests. Even though the guests ended up in the basement of the home, they had a wonderful time and were glad that the party was inside because it was more intimate. The party was a success!!!
