- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In general for event makeup my per face fee is $100. This includes basic full face makeup application with false lashes and usually takes about 45-60 minutes. Bridal application, including a full trial run with false lashes if desired is $200. This includes makeup application on two separate days of your choosing, roughly 45-60 minutes each. For set work or styled shoots, my hourly rate is $125, with anything over four hours charged at my day rate of $500. I travel with a fully stocked makeup artistry kit, a studio light, director's chair and aromatherapy to guarantee an experience that is relaxing and beautiful, every time. Please contact me directly for a specific menu of services included in day rate. Anything more than 30 miles out of Flint, MI incurs a separate mileage fee based on distance.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Consultation is generally the first step. We take time to get to know each other and then we build a program to suit your individual needs. I prefer to consult in person, and depending on distance can be flexible with phone/skype too. Because no two faces are exactly alike, no two client interactions are exactly the same.
