Nathan responded quickly and time was essential to choose the Sandless. After agreed on price and sent two guys to complete job that quoted 2-3 days end up 4-5 days. Not a problem taking extra days, I wanted quality job. After watching these guys for few days realize that floor installation wasn’t their specialty. Lot of missed spots were the trim won’t cover, because trim 3/8 and they left gaps 1/2. After pointing issues been told I’m so picky and this job should be priced lot more. Lot of squeaking noise, and when asked to fix they shoot nails face up and not even covering with wood patch. Been told, all this would seal nicely after finishing and won’t see it all the nails and squeaking will go away. This is not true, everything is visible and need good carpenter now to fix the issues after these guys. Apparently not their specialty installation of new flooring with attention to details. Especially I had also stair treads and risers replaced, couple of stairs still making lot of squeaking noise after the job finished. I guess this guys are good what their specialty is refinishing the floor, but my project look like were just learning for these guys. Very dissatisfied.
I hope the owner of this company takes this seriously and take care of customer if you want to get in this area of the business. I’ll be posting pictures soon.

I must say I’m a little shocked with this review due to the fact you and your wife were thrilled with our work during the job, and when we did the walkthrough. In addition, you recommended us to your neighbors and hired my guy to come back to finish other projects for you due to the fact other contractors that were working in your house walked out on you while we were there doing the floors ??? You are correct that the job took 5 days instead of 3 days - that was due to the fact that you did not order the quality wood that we discussed over the phone prior to booking this job. You purchased the cheap bulk wood from Menards (which we specifically told you not to purchase) that was extremely warped and damaged - so much that we couldn’t use about half of it - thus slowing us down tremendously when you had to keep goong to get more. In addition you were over our shoulder for the entirety of the job - thus slowing us down even more when you question every move we make. As for the gaps along the wall - those small gaps should be there so the floor won’t buckle during temperature changes and the trim will cover it. In addition, the trim you took around the room covered ever gap. And once again, you didn’t have a problem when we did the walkthrough. As for the squeaks, you followed us around during the walkthrough and jumped up and down on almost every board to do your best to find squeaks - the only one you and we found during the walkthrough in the entire floor was in one spot where the subfloor was installed incorrectly from the previous contractor. We did our best to address the issue and again you were ok with it during the walkthrough. We are a small business that prides ourself on being upfront and honest. We have completed countless jobs with little to no issues until this job. We never leave a job when a customer is not happy - ever, including yours. If you had all these concerns, why did you bug my employee to come back to do other projects for you? Why did you sign off and pay us with smiles on you and your wife’s faces? I’m very confused and a little disappointed you bring all this up after the fact. We strive to do excellent work, but I feel you are being deceitful with your review. I wish you the best of luck with your future projects.

Great experience with Mr Sandless!
Nathan (the owner) owner came to my home to view and quote the project (living room and dining room along with stairs to upper and lower levels of my tri level home). I explained in detail what I wanted and was quoted a fair price. I asked for the work to be started the day after Christmas letting him know I was scheduling movers to move my things in a few days later so I needed the work done in about 3 days. Nathan assured me it would be done in that time.
The day after Christmas Tony (the installer) was at my door first thing in the morning as promised. I had removed the carpet from the floor just days before and still had a few tackstrips that needed to be removed. He immediatley got to work helping to remove what was left before starting on the flooring. Tony did a wonderful job! His cuts were precise and the flooring was laid beautifully. When he got to the stairs we ran into a bit of a snag. The nose of stairs were rounded and flooring could not be laid on them without cutting off the edge. Just staining them wouldnt work because the treads were made of pressed wood. After several phone calls to find a piece that would fit my stairs and looking into multiple options Nathan and Tony gave me a few suggestions as to what could be done. Based on their suggestions I decided to replace the treads and have them stained to match the laminate flooring. I was a little nervous as I wasnt sure how welll we could match the flooring. In the end I was glad of my decision. Tony was able to find a stain that was a very close match. After putting on a coat of wood colored stain, he lightly sanded the treads. As a result the stairs matched the rest of the flooring perfectly!
The stairs and rooms are all but done with exception of a final trim going to the lower level stairs. This is my delay. I decided I would recarpet those stairs after all. Ive yet to get this done but once complete I will have Tony back out to put the final trim on the flooring wher it joins the stairs. Nathan has alreafy been in contact with me a couple of times to let me know they will be available when Im ready.
My flooring is beautiful and I am highly satisfied with the work!!

Can’t say enough about my experience with Mr. Sandless. Nathan was fantastic to work with from start to finish- very responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. Another big win for my wife and I is the fact that Mr. Sandless is green certified! When Nathan and Tony completed the refinish on our wood floors (which took only 1 day), we walked in to a house with no sand dust and minimal odor. Our lungs are thanking us, and the floors look fantastic. I’d hire these guys again in a heartbeat.
