- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a practicing minister for 27 years, averaging about four wedding ceremonies a year. After 2008 I began providing my service for ceremonies as a business. I now average 30 to 40 ceremonies per year and enjoy working with couples to design the ceremony that appeals to them and will result in wonderful memories.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
As a retired independent minister I can be more creative with ceremony design. When you use my service you are hiring me to officiate the ceremony you choose. I can offer many ceremony designs or use the one you create from other sources. Many of the ceremonies I officiate are non-religious and I am comfortable with that. Marriage, after all, is a civil arrangement.
