Kevin responded quickly to my request regarding a problem with my tv working with fiber internet. He showed up as scheduled, and was able to create an alternate route within a very short period of time, for a fee that was more than reasonable. I highly recommend him.

I was absolutely blown away with Kevin. He is incredibly talented and a joy to work with. You will NOT be sorry if you take any of your computer needs to him. He is a wiz and not only a software brainiac but also solves computer problems on the side. He is genuine and pleasant; a nice person to deal with, truly. I was desperate after dealing with these incompetent, fairly well known people (who have an impressive looking office space and professional advertising) in the western Michigan area. In the end, they completely dissed me and my computer. They couldn't even tell me what was wrong with any aspect of the problem. Still, I was required to pay them $40. for "labor" since they fumbled around with it for "too long" (less than 2 hours). They acted like I was a bother even though I was the one who was bothered by hauling the thing there and standing around, watching them do the same things I had already tried. I had personal reasons for wanting to restore my old computer and get it back in working order. and to possibly find out how I could have corrupted the old hard drive. I bought another wiped hard drive, tried to do an install and again, hit a brick wall. I got in too deep on my own. Mostly, I continued my attempts to fix it so that I could retrieve some old photos. My mom had just passed and it was SO sad to me when these other guys told me that I messed up my old hard drive and that everything was irretrievable. So after some thought, I decided to try Thumbtack. I got an immediate response from Yurware. I decided to call and after explaining my dilemma, Kevin made it CLEAR that he would not charge me for anything he couldn't fix. That alone was fine with me; I was bugged and frustrated and wanted just to know what I was doing wrong. These other guys couldn't; were not able to tell me. They brushed me and my "beast" of an old computer off (which is still a decent model, despite being older) telling me that it too was a goner - but still, didn't know why. I had my doubts and still being determined, I went and purchased an identical used model online (a good deal in comparison to what other sellers were asking) figuring that might do the trick for the new Win 7 install and that I could keep the old one for parts Well, itt didn't work. Since I paid the $40 to the place I was before, I called and asked the same guy if he could give me a bit of insight. Even over the phone, I could tell he was rather annoyed with me, saying that it still wouldn't be worth it to get it going; it would cost me at least $200. and blah blah. He was glad to get me off of the phone. Kevin took them both and both of the hard drives. He also told me he would inspect my corrupted HD to see if he could possibly find my photos and the rest. I didn't want to get too excited since I was told, emphatically, that it was shot. When Kevin called my several days later and informed me that it was ready and running (the original computer - new one works also but didn't need it), I was so very pleased. I had wondered if the hard drives were any good and he confirmed that they weren't the best. With a new on installed (reasonable price indeed) I was up and ready to go! Wow. THEN he casually mentioned that he was able to RETRIEVE the entire contents off of my old hard drive and that it was transferred and installed on the new one!!!!!!! I was completely elated. I wept tears of joy, finding those pictures that I had taken on one of the last trips I had been on with my late, beloved mother. This computer works like a dream and I'm ecstatic. The tower has extras and with Windows 10 now installed, it is better than ever. Yurware prices are reasonable and you will never have to worry about your computer in his hands. HE IS AWESOME! Also, I'm finding that Thumbtack is a great place to go to find professional in any field. Regardless, you can't let a nice office and well layed out advertising fool you. Sometimes, all you get with that are so-called "professionals" who do not know their own limitations; computer technology requires a vast amount of knowledge and dealing with complacency (not to mention apathy) will get you nowhere; especially if same people don't keep current with the scope of possibilities in finding solutions. Anyway, thank you ever so much, Kevin. I'll be recommending you to everyone I know!

Kevin was able to complete the removal of Windows 8.1 and install a new operating system. He also discovered potential issues with the hard drive that he corrected. I will connect with Kevin on any future computer problems.
