Rae's Housekeeping

I do the following housekeeping work: - Set up, arrange, or remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, or scaffolding to prepare facilities for events, such as banquets or meetings - Move heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks. - Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies using vacuum cleaners and shampooers - Dust and polish furniture and equipment - Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork - Sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines - Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas - Prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations, media equipment, and furniture for social or business functions - Care for children or elderly persons by overseeing their activities, providing companionship, and assisting them with dressing, bathing, eating, and other needs - Purchase or order groceries and household supplies to keep kitchens stocked and record expenditures - Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts - Wash dishes and clean kitchens, cooking utensils, and silverware - Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using vacuum cleaners and shampooers - Dust and polish furniture and equipment - Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary - Remove debris from driveways, garages, and swimming pool areas - Hang draperies and dust window blinds - Perform first aid or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) when required - Regulate children's rest periods and nap schedules - Help prepare and serve nutritionally balanced meals and snacks for children - Instruct children in safe behavior such as seeking adult assistance when crossing the street and avoiding contact or play with unsafe objects - Model appropriate social behaviors and encourage concern for others to cultivate development of interpersonal relationships and communication skills - Organize and conduct age-appropriate recreational activities such as games, arts and crafts, sports, walks, and play dates - Help develop or monitor family schedule - Supervise and assist with homework - Transport children to schools, social outings, and medical appointments - Keep records of play, meal schedules, and bill payment - Teach and perform age-appropriate activities such as lap play, reading, and arts and crafts to encourage intellectual development of children
