- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father ran a painting business for 37 years and I always admired his job. When I turned 13 I started painting for his company in the summers and I have loved it ever since.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Our most common jobs are full room repaints including ceiling,walls,trim. Also wallpaper removal, house and deck cleaning, and exterior siding painting. We do trim and wall repair also.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Really think about your paint colors prior to calling a painter. If you are choosing between a few colors, get samples of each and paint them on big carboard squares. After you have a few samples up watch each one as the light changes in your house at different times of the day. Make sure the color looks good morning, noon, and night!
