Introduction: True love wins again! Love is the principal thing. I am affordable and willing to create a special scripted ceremony that incorporates the couple's wishes. I am an accomplished speaker and work in the field of inclusion. I am also an experienced video conference facilitator that can help you to create a thoughtful video experience for whoever can't physically attend the ceremony. I enjoy working with couples who are excited about beginning a life together. I especially love speaking with them and giving points of advice. My favorite aspect of officiating weddings is witnessing the abundance of energy!

Wedding Officiant

Haywood was the absolute perfect officiant for our vow renewal. He took the time to learn our story and personalize our intimate ceremony. He was punctual and even contacted us to find out our colors so he could coordinate. We had a very laid back wedding and he just rolled right with us. If we ever renew our vows again, we’d contact Haywood first!

Wedding Officiant

We needed a officiant for our wedding and Mr Edwards was the first to reply to our requests sent out. We were really impressed with Mr Edwards professionalism and how he was very thorough about how we wanted the ceremony to go. He was very responsive through calls and texts and on thumbtack so there was no lack of communication. He was on time and very helpful at the wedding so everything went as smooth as possible. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Very reliable!! He drove thru a very bad winter storm, with freezing rain, to get to our wedding ceremony! He did an amazing job. Very professional. He made several wonderful suggestions during our rehearsal that helped us create a beautiful ceremony.

Wedding Officiant

Haywood was an excellent communicater and helped us develop a top notch wedding program at an affordable price. He also followed all our suggestions and preferences. We had never met him (except over phone and email) before the ceremony, but the wedding ran smoothly and he did an excellent job!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I have a $50 Discount for services requested in 2020.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The process begins with a phone or in person consultation. Once the service agreement is signed, a non-refundable deposit of $50 is paid. It is determined at that point if vows will be written by the happy couple or the seasoned professional lol. The next step is to have a consultation with the couple about their vision for the ceremony. Once there is a clear understanding of what is expected, a plan is made that works for everyone. On the day of the ceremony, the final payment is made.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been a licensed minister for 20 years but have worked with families for most of my career in education. During my undergraduate years, I was a chapel assistant at Morehouse College where I assisted with the weekly services for the college's student
