- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No, I charge and hourly rate. If it's a big job I will charge a project fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will talk with them about their issues and come upon a plan of attack. We will settle on working from their home or from my geek room. I will give them a good ball park figure on pricing, so as to prepare them for the worst.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BSIT from CMU and have several MS certifications. I also have training from the US Army in all aspects of Desktop Support. I read alot of blogs and have weekly email on trends and issues. I have been repairing computers for over 20 years.
