I was in the Army for 7 years and had 4 moves in that time, plus a couple more since then. I have had some good and some bad moving companies... "Top Notch" was just that: great from start to finish! Clarence (I think the owner) called me within an hour of posting on Thumbtack. On a Sunday. He had reasonable rates, and insisted on coming by and seeing my space and belongings to make sure he brought enough packing supplies (which I've been burned by before). He accommodated a second address pick-up. He accommodated a separate packing day. I threw him small curve balls because of my job and weird schedule. No problem. They called ahead, showed up on time, introduced the crew, told me when and how much would be due, so there would be no surprises. My job was smaller than most, but he made me feel like mine was the most important job of the day. They were professional, experienced, polite, and got done early. In my 50 years, literally the best move I've had. And since I'm older, I have better (and more breakable) stuff. If you are moving in and around Metro Detroit, USE THESE GUYS. Gee! I hope I tipped them enough...

Top Notch moving moved me and my family. They were on time,came in ready to work . They provided me with extra boxes, they were very helpful. They completed my whole move loading and unloading within 3.5 hours. I would definitely use their services again.

I think I must have miscommunicated the size of my move (I needed a one bedroom apartment moved then added on two storage units at the last minute), so I ended up with two movers for a job that probably needed three. They were not prepared for the size of the job or the tiny apartments and streets of Ann Arbor because I didn't think to warn them, but they handled it like CHAMPS. Two of their movers worked for seven hours straight with barely a break and barely a complaint. They went above and beyond in making sure nothing was broken and making sure we were happy. These guys were so fantastic, and we are so grateful they were around to help with our move. We'll be hiring them again the next time we move, and we'll probably ask them to pack as well. My things would be much more organized had Top Notch done it for me! Thank you!!
