I had a leaking hot water heater and needed emergency plumbing help. Steve from Purity Environmental Plumbing responded immediately, walked me through shutting off the water and gas, and came over as soon as he could. He quickly assessed the problem, drained the failing tank, and explained clearly that I needed a replacement. Steve provided a fair quote, purchased the new water heater, and installed it the same day in a very tight space in my small condo. He was patient, skilled, and professional throughout the entire job. His workmanship, problem‑solving, and kindness made a stressful situation much easier. We woke up to 3" of standing water in our basement because the pipe that brings the water up and out of the sump pump broke, and water was spurting out everywhere. I needed a plumber that worked on Saturdays and found Steve on Thumbtack, called at about 9:30, and within 2 minutes, he called me back. He said he had several appointments this morning, but he would prioritize our job. He arrived at 10:30 am, diagnosed the problem, had to run out for some parts, and had us all fixed up by 12:30. He even installed a new sump pump we had, and fixed up a few little plumbing related things. He was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, quick, pleasant. It wasn't a cheap service call.....but we were in a bind and Steve responded and came out quickly. Thanks so much to Steve! We will keep his contact information, as we would readily use him again if we have any plumbing sorts of issues.
