We worked with Chad to have our old deck replaced with Trex in May of this year (2021). He was fantastic to work with from beginning to end on our project. He was excellent with communication, honest, and very reliable—qualities that I have struggled to find with other contractors. The quality of his work was top notch…we have been enjoying the new deck all summer with no complaints whatsoever.

I can not recommend Hartman’s Hammer enough, and, if I could, I would give them more than 5 stars! Chad was very easy to work with. He purchased and installed wall cabinets for my office and repaired drawers in my base cabinets that were falling apart. He was prompt and professional and completed the job quickly for a reasonable price. The cabinets look great and I couldn’t be more pleased—you can see his attention to detail in his work. I highly recommend him!!!

The owner of Hartman’s Hammer (Chad) has worked for me for 11 years, even before he chose the name for his company. I had the best maintained rental properties in Royal Oak because of him. His honesty and integrity were the reasons I continued calling on him for so many years. Even though he enjoys working with wood more than anything, he has had experience in all aspects of home repair and was always more than willing to fix or improve everything I sent his way. I am confident that you will be pleased with his work just like I have been all these years. Here is a picture of Chad and his wife, who now have a baby boy.
