We worked with BeNita at Universal Events Catering for my mom's 70th birthday party. She reached out to me the same day we filled out our survey on Thumbtack, and we hit it off right away. She knows her business inside and out, and it showed. It was so easy getting everything organized and set up. Her menu is extensive and she doesn't limit you to only her menu, you can order other things off the menu as well. She worked with me to put together exactly what we were looking for, with appetizers, entrees, sides and desserts. On top of the exceptional service, the food looked, and even more importantly, tasted amazing! The ribs fell off the bone, the fried chicken was crispy but not greasy, and so juicy. Even the corn, such a simple dish, was just delicious. She handled the decorations, setup, service, packed up the leftovers, served dessert, and cleaned up. I will absolutely be using Universal Events in the future! Thank you, BeNita!!!

Ms. BeNita Massey and her team was incredible. She listened intently to my vision of what I wanted to serve at my birthday party and made it happen plus more. I asked Ms. BeNita to provide vegan green beans with flair that even carnivores would enjoy. She accomplished that vision with ease. They couldn’t believe the green beans were vegan. Everyone at my party complimented the food and her/team kindness, patience and professionalisms. She was my zen when I was stressed about the intricacies of this party. Universal Event Catering will always be my first choice and recommendation for catering.

I was very pleased from start to finish. I could’ve checked All the boxes! The owner was very cordial,patient,flexible when I made changes. She was prompt and checked with me to make sure all to my liking. Everyone was very complementary about the food. It was quite good and cleanup prompt and efficient.I have only good things to say, and would give her high recommendations to anyone inquiring!
