We Repair ALL brands of computers but ONLY computers.
We have been in Royal Oak since 1997 and Ray has been repairing computers since 1976, longer than anyone else in Michigan.
We are the people that IT people bring their own units to.
Most of our services run between 1-2.5 of billable hours averaging between $70-$170.00. We also make sure to backup your data to avoid any data loss during the process. If it is not worth fixing we are going to let you know and help you make other arrangements.
We treat everyone as if you are my children, and I love my children. If we would tell them to do something that is what we tell you. So consider yourself adopted.
Ray loves the techie part I love the people. I get to watch every ones children and grandchildren grow up. I get to meet every ones mom, dad, cousin , neighbor, teacher, lawyer and doctor. People fill me in on their success and I feel for them when sadness happens. We love our jobs and take pride in everything we do. Sadie (16 yrs) is no longer Our youngest employee we have added Sylas (7 years) he is our greeter and has taken over candy distribution.. Luci (6 years in charge of our candy bowls). Sadie has been promoted to our marketing and our customer service division.

I'm not sure why I never reviewed my wonderful experience. This small family business was the perfect place to get my mac fixed! Years later (and I'm out of state now), I want to come back to them to fix up my other laptop. I just remember them being so kind and helpful. I highly recommend.

My laptop died due to my dropping it and the screen died. Took it to Computer Services of Michigan to see what it would take to repair Met Maureen and had the most pleasant conversation with her on their capabilities. I knew I need a new screen and also a battery pack. She quoted a basic price for the parts on the spot and also the range of labor cost to do the repairs with a good explanation of the range. Parts in on Tuesday computer being repaired to find the HD was going bad also. Price quoted for the new one and it was installed with data transfer by Saturday morning. Working great almost like new and will not have to purchase a new laptop for a couple of more years, Best service, very quick turnaround and reasonably priced repair I have ever had done. Best place to take your computer for repair, upgrade or replacement in Metro Detroit. Definitely will be going back to even purchase other equipment as I expand the network.

My computer crashed and I undoubtedly made things worse by attempting my own YouTube repairs. Computer Services of MI was able to get me back up and running and for a fair price. I did lose my programs and games but I am currently in the process of reinstalling and everything seems to be fine. I recommend Computer Services of MI for repairs.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most services range between 1.5 hrs - 2.5 hrs of labor. So you are talking between $97.50 - $162.50. If parts are needed I will call you first with a price. If it is not worth fixing, we will be honest with you. We do not sell computers but I help over 500 people a year pick out and buy new ones.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When you come in we have a cart (gurney) to put the computer on. Sadie or I will fill out a form asking you your contact information and a summary of what you are experiencing. It is helpful if you bring in your software, & power cord (laptops). We then let you know that it usually takes between 2-4 business days and if anything is funny we will call. That is it it is easy.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Ray has been doing this since 1976, he helped write some of the MS testing , is an electrical engineer. My background is psychology & the 26 years of working with Ray. I will help you before and after. We will call you about a week later and see if you have any questions.
