Curtis A. says, "I asked Sam at Old World Finishing,Inc., to come to my home and look at an old wooden rocking chair I have had for about 50 yrs. It had fallen into disrepair and I asked for an estimate to recondition it. He was very honest in evaluating the value of the chair, and I wanted it fixed up anyway. Try his man is an expert in old finishes and repair techniques. He knew what types of materials were used in the original rocking chair and just what he would need to restore it to be better than new. Not only was the chair completely disassembled and all old glue and finishing stripped down, but the caning in the old seat was completely removed. All finishes were restored to a wonderful color and shine, the new caning in the chair seat is strong and beautiful. Now my old rocking chair is strong, beautiful to look at, and very comfortable to sit in. I never met a furniture repair and refinishing expert who knows so much about his art and craft as Sam, the company Proprietor. His work is as fine as it gets. I highly recommend Old World Finishing to anyone who seeks the finest workmanship anywhere."See more

Rudy did a great job installing our new Pella front door. I knew it would be a difficult job since the frame would have to be altered to fit in such a tight spot. Rudy was able to make the necessary modifications to make it fit and it looks great. He also installed our storm door which he also had to make some modifications to in order for it to fit properly. He was also very fair with his pricing, so much so I paid him a little extra cause I expected the cost to be much higher. If I need some work done in the future I will definitely hire Rudy again.

Worked with Jim and Joe to replace three exterior storm doors, and two exterior entry doors as well as fix the aluminum siding on a part of my garage. They provided a fair price, neither cheap nor exorbitant, and were easy to work with in terms of timing for the project. The work performed was great, and fully met my wife and my own expectations in terms of quality. They encountered some unexpected difficulties while doing the installations, but did not try to charge more which speaks to their integrity in standing behind the quote provided. Following the initial project, I have hired them to help with additional finish work in my kitchen and look forward to working with them again in the future. Highly recommend!
