Paul V. says, "First let me say that your mileage (results) may vary. This is because what I got out of my time with Emily was exactly in proportion to what I put into it. If I would have gone into this experience with a “you fix me” attitude, I would not have received what I did. Emily isn’t going to fix me. Or you. What she brings is a safe container. She teaches consent and boundaries, both methods for helping your partner, and you, relax and feel safe. This helps us, and our partners, move from fear to faith and to create the opportunity for a quality relationship of true intimacy. All relationships and experiences are unique. I can have a rather strong personality, so I know I challenged her by resisting some of the rituals that she wanted to take me through. We pushed each other’s buttons and both stretched ourselves to grow. She helped bring the thoughts and beliefs of my subconscious mind and Inner Being into my conscious mind so I could explore them. This time was an exploration. A discovery. A path of growth for me. As previously mentioned, she isn’t going to change you or fix you. You are only going to get what you want, and are deeply wanting to change. You control, and are responsible for, the outcome. She is going to build a safe and loving container that makes it much easier to do so. I told Emily that she was like an improv = no matter what I shared, to her everything is ok. I am so very grateful for Emily. Like water off a duck’s back, her ability to stay grounded and present was impressive. I learned to explore and experience new ways of thinking and new ways of seeing and expressing myself. Interestingly, much of what I gained from the 5 day San Miguel experience was received after I got back home, and my subconscious mind worked through all the thoughts and emotions that were flowing through me.
