Introduction: Hello! I am a certified teacher (math/science K-8) who is taking time off from work to raise my young children. I have worked as a teacher/administrator for 10 years. I am passionate about helping students succeed in school! My expertise is math, specifically algebra. I will work with you and your student to determine appropriate goals. Some students need help in specific areas in order to gain grade level mastery. Other students are looking to excel in their current course or work on concepts at a grade level above. Other students need extra support to build confidence with the current material. Some students may just need support and encouragement in completing their homework on a regular basis. Mrs. Rogers was my math teacher in middle school and I can honestly say she was one of the best teachers I have ever had. She prepared me for high school and college math. Because of that preparation, I was able to test into the honors track for math in high school and tested out of my math requirements for college. She is a patient and encouraging teacher. I would strongly recommend her as a tutor.

My typical rate is $50/hr. I do offer discounts based on frequency of sessions per week and location of sessions. Please contact me for more details.

I am happy to set up an initial meeting at an agreed upon public location, free of charge. At that time, we can discuss your goals and determine if I might be a good fit.
