Introduction: I go by the name of DJ Micah Marie. I specialize in all music genres. One thing I love to do is get the people on the dance floor , that's how I know I'm doing my job. I know exactly how to control the crowd. My mixing skills will have you in awe! I'm good for taking people down memory lane with my song selection, in which I must say, is on point. Music is my passion so it's only right to put my all into my sets to give my clients the best experience of an unforgettable night! Nevertheless, I can host (MC) as well while playing all the jams! Even though I'm great at what I do, I pride myself on stellar professionalism. I come with my own equipment and have my own unique set up. My set up includes two speakers, a mic, lights, and my own personalize dj booth to set the mood. I've been djing for about three years now and my journey has been nothing less than successful. I do graduation parties, weddings, wedding receptions, clubs, bars, private events, birthdays, school dances, baby showers, etc.

DJ Micah Marie is an awesome DJ. She gets the party started and keeps the party going with her amazing DJ style and outgoing personality. I have never heard and observed such talent. Truly amazing! I was fortunate to be at 4 events where Micah Marie was the DJ. She was so good that I had to hire her to DJ at my husband’s surprise birthday party. DJ Micah Marie is also a true professional. We met weeks before the event to discuss the genre of music I wanted. Micah Marie even asked whether I had any specific songs that I wanted her to play. I provided a list and she delivered. Because of her amazing talent and personality, my husband’s birthday party was “off the hook”!

Micah is a professional, knowledgeable and fun ass DJ. First of all, Micah has a great personality. She's funny, relatable and loves to have a good time. Not only is she amazing at getting a group hype and engaged but she's the kind of DJ who will get hype and dance and have a good time right along with you.
As a DJ for my family events, she knows how to read the group and to play great music that appeals to them so that everyone from my aunties to my little cousins have a good time.
Most importantly in my opinion, Micah knows her music. She plays everything from what's currently hot locally to Hot 100 to what's popular on social media to oldies-but-goodies and line dances (which my family loves because they stay up on line dances). She plays R&B, soul, hip hop, rap, reggae, funk, afrobeats, line dances, pop, house, etc.
In short, I'd say she has a lot versatility in terms of genre and knows how to read the energy of an event to choose what to play. As a music head myself, I was impressed that a relatively young DJ like her had such range in terms of music knowledge. She is skilled and creative in terms of mixing and making smooth and fun transitions. We couldn't have asked for more. I'm not usually one to leave reviews but I had to leave one for Micah.

DJ Micah Marie had great energy when I saw her at one of her gigs. She was able to engage the crowd the whole night. There wasn’t a dull moment at all. She had great transitions from song to song and was open to song requests. Book her for all of your events
