- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Taking on any home remodeling task, expecially flooring, may be very overwhelming and theres many unseen issues that may arise if not properly planned. Some things to make sure you think of before taking on a harwood floor project include: - Where will I stay during duration of refinishing? During some steps of hardwood refinishing there are times where noone will be able to be on floor (including pets) and its always a good idea to have a plan on where to go. -What type of polyurethane to use and also stain color. Upon starting a project it is a good idea to get a vision of exactly what color you want so we can achieve the perfect color for you. Also there are two main types of clear coats that can be used, water and oil, both having pros and cons which we are more than happy to help you decide. - Any mouldings that may he required. Sometimes mouldings need to be replaced depending on the look you are trying to achieve or maybe you just want to add some to give your floor a nice finished look and we are here to help with that.
