Would have been 5 stars except for the fact that it was raining and they came in with wet and dirty shoes tracking it on the hardwood floor and carpet. Shoe covers should have been worn.
I hired Darren to clean my condo windows, both inside and out. He and his helper arrived on time, did a great job and left no mess behind. In addition, Darren was very polite and friendly. He even threw in bonus of cleaning the mirrors in my home! I would highly recommend him.
Here goes... I had been considering for a while of having a maid come clean my place .. Its one of those luxuries you dont think you need until you have it done I guess. So, I had always come up with reasons not to do it. Long story short, this past year I ended up breaking my hip and couldnt continue with the household chores like I used to be able to. I dont know if youve ever been forced to sit around and walk on crutches for 4 months but its not a fun time and you cant really keep up with household chores. I had to finally swallow my pride and call somebody. I hired another company on Craigslist (I know, my mistake) and the made 3 separate appointments to come give me a cleaning estimate . They never ever showed up. After that, I did more research and found Angel Maids after Googling. I didnt have to wait to get an estimate which was nice. I scheduled the appointment right from their website. Being stubborn, I figured Id have them come out and do a deep cleaning one time and afterward I would be able to take over again myself. No problem. I went ahead and scheduled the appointment for December 17th. They had two maids come with all equipment (I had my vacuum ready) and got down to it. Im embarrassed but Ill admit it my house was neglected (DIRTY) and the 2 ladies cleaned it from top to bottom... they even had a 3rd person join them because I told them had company coming over later that night. I didnt even ask or tell them that they had to be out before the people came over but they still called a third maid to make sure they were. It was a nice gesture. I had my fridge cleaned, cabinets, oven, basement (I cant really walk up and down stairs yet again), all bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchens. I have different kinds of flooring throughout including tile, maple hardwood, carpet, etc. I also have zodiac counter tops in the kitchen and a large glass kitchen table. They were very much in tune with how to properly work with all these difference services. It was probably the nicest my house has looked since I bought it in 1996. So... they converted me. I signed for a bi-weekly scheduled cleaning while I get back on my feet and will keep them around monthly once Im able to do things again by myself. Its a great thing knowing that I dont have to worry about keeping up with my house while I heal. Theyve also done a great job with all of the scheduling and answering any questions I come up with. Like I said, originally I was back and forth about hiring a maid service and Katie/Kelly were very patient in dealing with me. For what it is worth my experience with Katy and Kelly in the office has been great. I ask a lot of questions and will write long emails (as you can see) and they always respond. Ive also since learned that Katy was the one that volunteered to come to my home and join the other two maids to help out on the first cleaning. I cant speak for everyone. I can only say as someone thats used Angel Maids four times now that they've done a very good job. Ive referred them to all 3 of my relatives that live in the area if that tells you anything.
The best! I admit that is has been 6 months since I last used Eco Budget Cleaning, but after using several other cleaners at my new home, I decided I needed to go back and post a review. (which I never do) I wish I could go back to using Eco Budget. I love these ladies! The first time they showed up, they made my 80 year old house look spectacular. And that is not an easy task on an old house. My dog sheds a good bit. No problem! They found dog hair hidden in places that I didn't know it had been collecting. I was so impressed that I set up regular visits with them. The ladies where always so nice and fun to talk to. It was obvious very early that they were trustworthy and professional. And there pricing was incredibly reasonable. I have used cleaning services in several cities that I have lives, and Eco Budget is hands down the best.
