FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by finding out what areas are most important to my clients as well as any specifics they think are crucial for them to feel like their home is clean to their standards and above. My goal is for my clients to come home and smile when they walk in and breathe a sigh of relief because they can relax and not even need to think about cleaning for the time being.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started years ago as a housekeeper at Red Roof Inn. After a year or so i found a great job working for a small company called Welcome Home in Ann Arbor,MI. I was a solo housekeeper for the company for over 3 years and loved it. I cleaned a few offices but the majority of my accounts were large beautiful homes. From there, when accounts got low and we lost clients i began working for an Airport hotel and was soon promoted to housekeeping supervisor. I have seen and learned a lot along way. What works ,what doesn't and what works best in the most timely manner. I have developed a certain way of cleaning and believe its the best way for me. I clean ceiling to floor. I have always done floors the good old fashioned way, a cleaning cloth and bucket of soapy water. That's the only way to get a floor actually clean. I do it at my home so, of course ,i do it for my clients. I dont believe in the phrase "thats good enough". That implies it can be done better. So,it should be done that way the first time.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
All types of clients. From very elderly to the young and very busy professional. I have also worked for handicap and a few clients with allergies or poor immune systems that have needed certain details paid greater attention to.
