- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I go over to the customer's house to give an estimate. I find it rather difficult to give an accurate bid on something that I can't see. It's like how many fingers am I holding up.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most of my education has been hands on. I have worked for others and managed my own projects.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started by working on my family's homes. We own a large number of private homes and rental properties. I found that I truly loved renovating, problem solving, and creating. I then worked a couple of years for a very good painter. Eventually, so many people wanted me to work on their homes, that I decided to go out on my own.
