FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Education is the key to success. There are a lot of people who "think" they know how to do water damage because they've been doing it for 10,15 or 20 years. But without proper education they have probably been doing it wrong all that time. Each year we send our technicians to approved schools to help us stay on top of the industry's leading technology and education so that we can provide the best experience for you.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My Father owns a local carpet cleaning company. From a young age I knew I wanted to do be a carpet cleaner. After about 20 years of cleaning carpet, and working on water damages I realized that I liked working on water damage even more.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure they have experience, and are certified by the IICRC. The Dry out process takes only a few days, but reconstruction can take weeks, or months. So make sure you Interview the company before you have them work in your home. If you feel uncomfortable with the person on day 1, then ask yourself if you want to work with them for the next few weeks.
