Our search for a new roof started about two weeks ago. While our roof was well beyond its 20–25 year life expectancy, it was still holding up reasonably well. The real issue was our gutters and downspouts, they were completely shot. After saving for several months, we finally decided it was time to move forward with the project.
We received quotes from several companies, but Alexis stood out immediately. He was responsive, answered every question we had, and provided shingle samples without requiring a lengthy, high-pressure sales presentation. His pricing was fair, especially considering we ended up needing approximately 30 sheets of plywood replaced once the old roof was removed.
As the project progressed, we learned that our roof wasn’t receiving adequate ventilation and that the gutters installed by the previous homeowners had not been professionally done. We had also postponed replacing the roof for nearly eight years after purchasing the home, so there was more work involved than originally expected.
What impressed us most was how smoothly everything was handled.
