FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
You'll receive an upfront, firm quote for the work before I begin. I don't add surprise labor charges. If the job requires a part or small piece of hardware that wasn't included in the original quote, that would be an additional cost. Examples might include a printer cable, digital optical (TOSLINK) cable, screws, adapters, or similar items. I'll let you know about any additional cost before purchasing or installing anything. There are no hidden fees, and you'll know what you're paying for before the work begins.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I'll talk with you about the problem and what you're trying to accomplish. I'll ask a few questions to understand what's happening and what you've already tried. If possible, I'll have you provide any error messages, photos, screenshots, or other information that might help. From there, I'll determine what needs to be done and provide an upfront quote before beginning the work. Once we agree on the work, I'll troubleshoot or complete the project, explain what I found, and make sure everything is working properly before I consider the job finished. For more complicated problems, I'll keep you informed if I discover anything that changes the scope of the original work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
