We hired Mark to replace broken/worn-out hinges on kitchen cupboards. We went on to have him install slides on sticky drawers -- and make an entirely new drawer unit and a new cupboard door. Beautiful carpentry work. Easy to work with. I'm sure we will be calling him again.
Will is fantastic. He is friendly and takes the time to ensure the project is done correctly from start to finish. I'm thrilled to have found someone who takes pride in their work and leaves you with a job well done.
Had an urgent situation to get a carpenter over to put down 1/4" plywood for a tile crew. The subfloor was in rough shape. Greg contacted me and was out within a couple hours and did a great job.
I needed some help with angles and getting some finish work done. He was very knowledgeable and did a great job of making everything fit and explained everything to me that I needed to do to finish the project. I would call him again for any help that I needed!
Don refinished my deck. He was responsive, finished the job quickly, and the cost was very competitive. The deck is looking very good!
As with any house, 55+ years old, there are uneven floors, out-of-date finishes, no-longer-standard fixtures, a bad update or two and odd corners. Our job for Jamie was to work with all of those realities and still complete a finished carpenter's quality replacement of baseboards and casings throughout the upper level. Not a single glitch, situation or scenario was too much for his skill level or his friendly, calm demeanor. A relaxed, yet professional attitude was necessary for this job. He is the only carpenter we'll ever call from this day forward. Oh, and he even got our freaked out Chihuahua to mellow out.
I am in the early stages of getting my home ready to sell in two years and am looking to add inexpensive touches so it will show better. I decided first to add chair rail and crown molding to the four bedrooms. I got three bids on the project; Dusty was a little bit higher than the other two. However, his walk though took about three times longer than the first two bidders because he took the time to point out problem areas and spent time explaining how he was going ameliorate those situations. I felt confident that I was going to get the results I was after. Dusty gave me advice on purchasing the trim and gave me enough lead time that I could get the trim painted prior to installation. He, along with one helper, completed the project in one long day. It came out perfect...better than I had anticipated. The only drawback is that Dustin's quality of work is higher than that of the original builder. We'll figure out that later. I was so pleased with his work that I've arranged for him do a second project for me later this winter and have two others in the works. I can recommend DF Carpentry without any hesitation. Jim Allen
We had a railing and some cabinets done by the Apex crew. It was a great experience, from start to finish. The work was done quickly and the quality and attention to detail was outstanding. We are already planning our next projects with Apex.
We had a few bids on our kitchen and Roger's was the lowest. Now that the project is complete, we can't believe the quality in the cabinets and countertops for the price we paid. We had already bought several of the materials that we wanted for our new kitchen, so Roger worked with us on installing those aspects, too. We were told that our cabinets would be ready for install on a specific date +/-. The night before the demo was to start, we checked in to find out what time they would be arriving the next morning, and we found out that they were running two weeks behind. We were extremely disappointed to find out the night before that our project wouldn't be starting on time, mostly because my wife runs a business out of our home and had made arrangements around the remodel time-frame. Some notice would have been nice. Roger made this lack of communication right, and in the end of we are more than pleased with the time, work, and product we received. Jerry and Anthony are incredibly hard workers and put in long hours and over-time during the course of two weeks to complete our job. Jerry is very particular and we appreciated his attention to detail and making sure everything was done correctly. Roger stopped by a couple times a week to meet in person regarding the process, and was always available by phone or message. We LOVE the little details on our cabinets like the trim, moulding, and shoe moulding. We would hire Roger and his guys in a heart beat for other carpentry projects around our house.
Mick did a great job helping me finish a bathroom project. He was on-time, tidy, and able to fit me into his schedule quickly! Will definitely hire him again.
Chris is absolutely the best contractor that I've had the privilege to engage on any of my Projects (and there have been quite a few). The finish carpentry expertise that he provided for the floor trim, doors, windows (sashes and jambs) on my house was absolutely outstanding. It all looks brand new (or actually better than new). If you're looking for your project to be done right, on-time, and on-budget, then I can think of nobody better for you to contact than Chris. I give him my highest rating and endorsement and would definitely contact him again with any future carpentry needs.
Good work, well priced. Reliable and informative, gave me advice for other projects I was working on. Stick to the original quote even though additional complication came up, was supposed to be a 2 day job but took 3 and he came back on Sunday to finish things up at no extra cost.
Julio, Has completed multiple jobs for us! Some planned and some as a result of disaster. When disaster struck he came over as soon as he could to assess the issue! He installed stairs to an attic so we could enjoy extra storage space! He finished a laundry room counter so we could enjoy more space for folding. A fireplace mantle on the fireplace was very small and unimpressive. He found reclaimed wood for us with three pricing options so we were able to pick the piece of wood that not only looked great but met with our budget restrictions. He installed the mantle and also found smaller reclaimed wood for shelves. Everything was stained to the color we requested and installed. Lastly we had a shower leak through the kitchen ceiling ( the disaster) he fixed the tile leak, ensures the area was properly drying and mold free and once we were sure the problem was fixed repaired the kitchen ceiling. He is dependable.. He gets back to you when he says he will, agrees to changes in the job, listens, is personable, cleans up and great to have in our home. I would highly recommend!
Joe and Erick were a pleasure to work with. Excellent job! More than willing to do the extra things we asked. Cleaned up the place real good each day so it was livable and finished up the job in very short time. I would hire them again without looking for other bids. Well done!
Shawn wasn't able to finish my job, but he did try for six hours and still only charged me our agreed upon price of $75. He is a very fair guy that I'd recommend for basic handyman work!
I hired Studio Rebus to replace two doors that were kicked in during a home invasion. Kel created a very detailed budget for the project that my insurance company accepted without question, even though they had originally estimated the project to be much less (not realizing our doors were custom sized). Like most home improvement projects, this one took longer than originally projected, but I would definitely hire Studio Rebus again, for several reasons. First, Kel is responsive. No phone call or email went unreturned. He communicated promptly and thoroughly at every step of the process. Second, Kel's very thorough estimate left no stone unturned, so while our project got delayed because of supplier issues, there were never any surprises in expense. Third, Kel loves this work, and it shows. Unlike handymen I've hired in the past, Kel is very knowledgeable about houses, and lovingly pays attention to form and function and even the most minor finishing detail (as we requested--we were not interested in doing any painting or finishing work ourselves). Fourth, Kel kept our home and garage very tidy during this process, cleaning up after himself each day.
Carpentry work. Overall it went well. I was a little disappointed that more didn't get done. We were under the impression we would have a few guys and we only ended up getting one so we didn't get as much accomplished as I had hoped. The workmanship was good though.
Clear Creek Renovations was extremely professional and prompt. They did an amazing job on my deck renovation. They finished the entire project when they said they would, stayed with the quoted price and had me inspect the work before they left to make sure I was satisfied with the workmanship and quality, which I was. I would definitely recommend Cedar Creek Renovations to my friends and family. I would also use them again for any future jobs I need completed. I’m extremely satisfied with the work they completed.
I used Kohner Construction to finish a basement this spring. They worked with me to identify solutions within my budget and were timely, clean and responsive over the course of the project.
We were extremely happy with the results from VanVleet Construction in so many ways. It's unusual to find one company that is very knowledgeable in many ways,be it flooring, plumbing finishing, general construction sheet rock work, the list goes on and on. Best of all, the were very neat and polite the whole time they were here. No messes. We would definitely hire VanVleet Construction again.
He was very quick to respond which we’ve had a bad experience in the past with other construction companies so that was really important to us. He ensured us that he would help in anyway we needed with our project after he had finished his work. Great experience and reasonable price!
