I am trained to help motivate my clients to make changes that benefit their health and well being and are aligned with what they care about. Mary Battista is an excellent health coach and will take you step by step through a process to help you make permanent changes in your lifestyle. Mary is with you every step of the way, encouraging, educating and providing you with the tools necessary to improve your overall health and well being. Her focus is not only on nutrition and diet, but also incorporates emotional and spiritual tools to lead a well balanced life. Mary is passionate about what she does and this passion is infectious! My sessions with Mary were via Skype since I was in Pittsburgh at the time. This worked out very well and Mary was very accommodating to my schedule. Mary is professional, personable, and energetic. She has the ability to motivate people in a positive way. I highly recommend her as an outstanding health coach who is committed to walking alongside you in your journey to better health!

My husband and I completed a six-month health coaching program with Mary and it changed the way we live our lives! We wanted to be more intentional about the choices we were making in terms of eating, sleeping, exercising and stress management and Mary helped us with all of that and more. Mary's approach is so positive and encouraging; she does not advocate deprivation, but gives you manageable action steps that help you make the positive changes you desire in small increments that add up to big changes. Our only regret is that the six months is over and we have to keep up with things on our own, but Mary is always just an email or phone call away when we need a little encouragement or a reminder to keep us focused. Thank you Mary!

Years after taking Mary's 6-month program, I feel healthier and happier than ever! Mary shows how to shop, cook and eat healthier. Who knew it would be so easy? She teaches how to incorporate gratitude and mindfulness daily, resulting in feeling more balanced. Learning daily exercise along with a cleaner and greener diet has resulted in feeling less stressed and my personal best. Prairie Health Companion helped me re-think my entire diet and food preparation habits. After attending a series of one-on-one health coach sessions, food shopping instruction, as well as group cooking classes, I have regained my healthy baseline and lost unwanted pounds that were sluggish to come off. I feel strong and well, again.

As my health coach, Mary did an excellent job helping me to change my attitude from negative to positive regarding how I ate, cooked, shopped, and prepared a healthy diet for myself and my husband. She taught me the importance of drinking water and how much one should drink. She taught me how to cook with oils ,herbs ,and spices rather than butter ,salt, and pepper. She also taught me some exercises to keep my muscles strong and to keep my body mobile. She also gave me great ideas as to how to relax and lower my stress.
