John and carol Murphy. I am so happy with Nick Letendre, MinnCo Builders and the services Nick provided for us. My husband and i are in our 90s, After the storm that hit back on Aug 8th of 2013 all of our neighbors were getting new roofs ect, through their insurance companies so we decided to file a claim ourselves thinking since we never filed any claims having before and been with State Farm for 22 years they denied us, very disappointing. A month later after other contractors came by which at that point we just thought it was a done deal, we filed the claim again this time with a contractor that we didn't do our research on but was referred from a neighbor and we then received approval for partial fixture on only 10 percent of the roof. The awarded funds were less then our deductible so we passed. A year goes by and Nick Letendre stops by, his enthusiasm and professionalism caught our attention, we explained to Mr. Letendre everything that had happened and felt going to try and file was just going to be a waste if time. He left and we did our research, called Nick back the next day to do his inspection. .. long story short, WE GOT OUR ROOF COMPLETELY APPROVED! I couldn't be anymore happier with the service and the hard work Nick letendre put into our claim to ensure we got approved with absolutely no problem! Nick has become part of our family.

Nick has worked hard for my roof. Unfortunately. The weather changed before I got my roof so I am waiting until spring. Nick has managed every step and checks in to make sure things are ok. He has done a great job with the insurance company. I am excited to get my roof. And so far, he has made my life easier.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I decided to get into the business mainly because I've always been around it all my life and know the industry very well, always been a hands on kinda guy and I really love what I do.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I am with you from start to finish with your home restoration from contacting adjusters and being your advocate to make sure you get everything you deserve when dealing with your insurance company, supplementing everything to make sure they don't miss anything, maximizing your claim. I will help you with materials and colors to showing insurance adjusters the wind and or hail damage on the spot that they almost miss every time.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The advice I always share when first meeting and getting to know each other is to tell them, make sure to do their homework on these companies out there and also make sure you know what products are being used, for instance with Felt paper used for the underlayment on your roof, the standard is the black paper felt 15-30 lbs! We use GAF Tigerpaw 40 lb woven felt. We use this product regardless due to being one of GAF Elite Installers, we want the best for our homeowners without you having to pay for it, this also allows us to give you that GAF Lifetime Warranty that is a must.
